I used the voice chat in a raid once a few hours ago. I teamed with some friends in my guild and i turned the music down so i could hear them. At first everyone was all quiet, then while on our way to raiding Stormwind, someone bursted out: "Lets stick it to those ally bitches!" It took me a while to set up my keys to reply back, then i got used to it. Taking down stormwind was no problem.

I found the WoW chat quite nice. U just need to adjust the volume etc. But it saves u money from making a vent server for like 30 people

press the "Help request" button in-game. there should be a guide there.

or do this

press "ESC" (open options window) > press: sound and voice > under "default" there is 2 tabs saying "sound" and "voice" > press "voice" > press "enable voice"...


and there you go!
