Seriuosly, though, Gainax did a great job with this series. The art is fantastic, the story, while bit corney, was quite possibly one of the best stories out this season. This is a series you'll watch over and over again. It's no wonder why the series was licensed so early on.

Seriously, I thought the story was the only bad thing about it. That, and the plot moved too fast.

just hope they don't edit out all the great parts in the english version...

I haven't watched this yet.. I don't why but something keeps turning me off every time I get to TV links ._.

The story was pretty cool, the plot was fast.
They only had 26 episodes with their budget.
If it had like 42, then they'd be epic even moar.

No way.
The plot was just as fast it should be. If it were any longer there'd be tons of boring explanation episodes and it'd just drag out.

The only thing I'd want from gurren lagann is an ova about the former spiral knights.

And this show is great..

Just sad when that thing happened which If I said would be a spoiler and people would cry like Yoko did with this spoiler.

That's why I love Gainax. They are able to make a good plot in minamal episodes. FLCL was only 6 episodes, and it was great.

Tengen Toppa is 27 episodes of pure parody goodness.. Gainax makes paorodys that are not only funny, but the plot is well written and can sometime even make you tear up.

(Note: I don't know how many times I rewatched the emotional conversation between Simon and . . . The music is just so great in that scene. I'm just waiting from the OST to be released next month so I could listen to the classical mix of "Ro Ro Fight the Power")
