Do i need to regular GuildWars? - Guildwars

I was thinking about getting GW and i was wondering if i need the original GW in order to play Eye of the North EP... Can someone help me?

Yes, you need any one of the three Guild Wars stand-alone campaigns (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall) to play the Eye of the North (which is an expansion).

I would recommend getting Prophecies though as it's the starting chapter, it may be cheaper now, and the Eye of the North kind of wraps up lots of the stories that started in Prophecies.

Also not only that but Guild Wars EOTN is intended for lvl 20 players.

get factions. way more options, more pvp (such as 12v12 alliance battles), and 6 classes. The storyline is shorter than prophecies but just as good. I highly recommend factions if you're going to get EOTN.

Thanks I'm not sure if i want to get it though, my computer is acting up and i dont want to spend 70$ and not be able to play it for 5 months...but i might THANKS

They do also sell Prophesies + EoTN pack for about 50€ here, which is cheap.
To say it this way, if you actually are intested in storyline, get prophesies. Alot stuff in that chapter are continued in EoTN as Beldeti said, but I might be wrong on amount too.

I have one more thing to ask... i looked online at PlayNC and the was only Guildwars, GW:Factions, GW: nightfall, and GW: EOTN. is the regular guildwars Prophesies???
