double edit: new info, in the very first scene, the gundam that shot down the robots and was flying in the air is rumored to be the prototype of the RX-78 model. It is not the main gundam of the series.
For those of you who don't know wut the RX-78 is, its the very very first gundam (aside from the zaku) that appeared in the very first gundam tv show. Yes, its the one that looks like a samurai as the designer intended

Just caught the first ep on stage6. I'm going to watch it to the end, but it seems so generic. Setsuka, being the main character he is, of course has to be the quiet, "My God that is faggoty" haired, badass with a dark past.

I think that's one characteristic a main character possess in almost all gundam series. It's a rule ^_^

i don't see anything towards Death Note, i do see some resemblances with code geass

not really, Amuru (wrong spelling, but he's the gundam series' very first character) didn't have a dark past. the only ones i see are Kira and Setsuna

aside from that why is the 4th gundam missing????
