Your opinion on Fame - Maple Story

I personally think it causes too much trouble.
You can't trade it without the possibility of getting scammed, someone can ruin your future gameplay be defaming you for a silly reason, and overall it turns the game into a popularity contest or sorts.

...

But that's just me.
What about you guys?

I dont care about fame, i think i got 50fame on my main and 4 fame on my second character. Fame is pretty useless, but some people look at it this way : high level with low fame = hacker. But not everyone is a fame whore. Some people buy them for 50k each, all my fame i earn them thru quest and helping people.

Fame is the weapon of noobs. When a noob feel angry, he will defame you.

Is just a number to me, but once is a high number, it might call your attention to get it higher.

Fame is just sad. If you honestly don't get fazed by defaming then it shouldn't matter, but unfortunately people judge you by your fame, and if you have low fame then get prepared to be called a 'hax0r' etc.

I only get fame so I could wear my equips. Other than that, I dont buy it. I usually just randomly fame someone everyday

fame is just a number the lower u are with fame the less bragging rights but the higher fame the higher bragging rights but to me it dont matter if u have -50 or 1,000
