1. 1st make sure that you get your Dx9.0c as up to date as possible. 1st here's the latest redist dl links (3 there if any 1 gets fubared):-

2. You should be able to set windowed mode via ImagineOption.exe, located in your Start>Program Files>*** or inside the game installation's folder.
