Does anybody know where to get mage weapons? (I have a friend who told me he wwnt to some "weapon trader" and only found titan weapons..

lol- go back to the weapons trader and scroll down within that box - weapons for all classes are there - the titan ones are at the top.

Make sure when you buy the weapon/armour that you don't go more than 4-5 lvl's above your current lvl. Otherwise, there are major penalties that you incur for using/wearing the item.

Yeah, back in the old days that was supposed to be one of the things your Guardian would have told you :-)

Specifically, you can wear armor up to 5 levels ahead of you, and weapons up to 4 levels ahead of you without getting a penalty. The penalty is bad, so people don't use higher level gear.

At some point the NPCs no longer sell stuff; I keep getting "31" in my head, but I don't remember whether that's the first level that doesn't have NPC items, or the last items in the NPC shops are 31, or whether the 31 has nothing to do with this.

I remember how my Guardian bought be a set of gear, and I told him I couldn't wear it because I had to gain a few levels first. Needless to say, I COULD wear it :-) And then the same happened with most of my Apprentices...
