Link, sometimes you need to log in more than once, not everything is a problem....
Also, if that's the case about the google thing Rem, I'll work on it some today, I was just too afraid to =P Last edited by Riyel; 10-16-2007 at 05:40 PM. |

If you were going to suggest a better translating for some of their katakana (the alphabet they have to specifically spell out foreign words), then just post it here first, and we can all chime in on what it actually is.
The thing about katakana is, whatever english or french or other foreign word they are using, they spell it out phonetically in that alphabet, like a pronunciation guide. So say they want to put "Conjuring Tempest Set". An actual armor/equip set for Battle Mages. They would spell it out phonetically in Katakana first, then it would google translate phonetically back into english, but using the Hepburn romanization system, thus this; Konjuaringutenpesutosetto See? That's really Ko n ju a ri n gu te n pe su to se tsu to, or the appropriate characters in Katakana, which is just a phonetic spelling of the actual thing. NOTE: The "tsu" is just there to repeat the t twice, at the end of "setto", they don't actually say "tsu", they just use it for spelling reasons, to show there's two consonants, it's the same rule Suvi pointed out to me. Google can't be expected to know that, but these words repeat a whole lot in the wiki, so if we add suggestions, it will start to recognize them. Essentially post it all here and we can confirm what it actually is. Last edited by OuterRem; 10-16-2007 at 09:13 PM. |

Rem:
so, it took the time to read that link u gave me, and i find it quite usefull but the translation its kind of crappy. never the less it gave me an idea of what is going to become of my fighter. by the way i have this huuuuge doubt about that because i presume that i am a fighter but reading some post over the DnF help thread i start to suspect that i am in fact a ghost knight, the only thing that i know for sure is that i'm a big bastard with a huge sword, not close quarter combat, large and wide combat with a "big mother ****er" sing on the tip of the blade. ![]() so, u may wonder, what the hell is this guy talking about...i'ts simple you'll see I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT QUEST DO I HAVE TO TAKE TO CHANGE MY SECONDARY JOB, so if someone please post some instruccions on how to do it it will be wonderfull ![]() by the way i saw this video on youtube of a bad *** GK that had a little crap following him, is that some kind of skill, purchase item or a plus of a secondary job? is there a way to recognize them (the secondary jobs)? tnx 4 all of u if it wasn't 4 this forum i surelly haven't pass the registration boss lolthis is the video i was talking about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SY2PzAAVCRo this guy sure know what's he's doing (what job should he had?) You are a Ghost Knight, not a Fighter. Fighters are those women that use their fists.
http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl...language_tools G.S.D. has your quests. They're in that link. As for that thing following the GK in the video, that's something you have to purchase with real cash, unless you find a player willing to sell it to you, which I dunno if we have the patch that lets players sell those kinds of things. Also you have to decide which kind of GK you want to become. Weapon Master, Soulbringer, Berserker, and Asura. Each of those are under the tab for Ghost Knight (translated by Google as "Demon Swordsman") Last edited by OuterRem; 10-17-2007 at 04:15 AM. |

Can anyone explain why some quests are marked with a golden scroll and the rest just white. Seems like those quests are required to unlock other quests or hidden maps but I would like someone to tell me for sure.
What's the setback of dieing? Asides from having to wait a little while or paying to get on full health again, it doesn't seem to be that relevant. Oh and one last thing. What each stat is for? Some are easy tu understand like defence or accuracy(easy to understand icons), but the rest are pretty shady as to what their real purpose is. |

For the first two questions;
Basically the golden scroll, as far as I understand it, is when a Quest is exactly at your level and is relevant to the dungeons that you are leveling up in currently. At least that's always been my experience. I could be wrong on this. As for death, this game doesn't really punish you for it, it just delays you so that you have to wait out the Exhaustion. We call it " Orz " which is just an emoticon of a guy on his hands and knees, a posture for failure. As for the stats, I never really pay them as much attention as I should so I'll have to get back to you on that one. |
