just do the ep quest as fast as you can, if you have them up to your level you can take all of the sidequests and do them while doing your ep quests

Yeah I live in the US. Got my VPN set up and it's running fine. In game name is Jelli on whatever the first server is. Still pretty new, trying to figure out how I get more skills.

Also, question about the customization items: They're all pay, right? Are they rentals or do they actually stay after you buy them? Also I heard something about them giving stat boosts or something, anyone feel like elaborating?

The avatars cost real money, but you can buy them from players as well. Also, since the auction house came in, it's a lot easier to find a certain avatar as well.

And yes, they are permanent.(Unless they're a special type that has a set duration)

The popup is maintenance. Nexon will do this each Wednesday (JP time). Also tell u one thing, if there's a popup when u click game start in that window, there will be 2 cases. One is maintenance, the other one is something about returning to the top page to log in, but u just need to close that window and open it again.

And if you're new to Arad, you should use Nexon ID cause it gets some certain advantage.

THAT'S a relief. Yeah, Audition drove me crazy with it's durations. I WANTED to have, like, 3 different outfits to switch between whenever I wanted but the time limits made me say "Screw that!". I only ever bought 2 Nexon cards because of it. I known if they hadn't done that I would have bought ALOT more items.

Just checked the official website too and they say that there's alot of individual avatar parts to mix and match too (hair, top, bottom, ect. A surprising amount for what the game IS), also a relief. I look forward to cusomizing the crap out of my character in the U.S. release. (DnF MUST be a success!)
