I get a start up error saying ARAD has stopped working. I thought it was because of the language thing but chaning it didnt fix it

Can you post a screen with it?
Also, if using Vista, you may need to disable dep for the game.
You could try this, control panel->system/maintenance->system->advanced system settings->Performance's Settings button ->add whatever exe is in the Arad folder

If that doesn't work, come back.

Secondly: Hmmm...that's weird. Have you tried making location, unicode, and time setting to Japan(not that that would help probably).
If you don't get an answer soon, it might be a good idea to reinstall.

I'm on the first server, Renegal the Gunner, usually Ch 11 B. o3o;

O.o! But you-you-you're level 19 right? If you leveling in Sky Tower, you should play on channels 12-14 to get a bonus for clearing a stage in Sky Tower.(Or 10-11 for Gran Prolis[or whatever the english translation is])
