I got that error again while I wasn't in Arad Senki. Upon closer inspection, I learned that the driver it was having trouble with was NVTcp.sys. I did some research via google, and it turns out it WAS that NVIDIA firewall, which is part of the Nvidia Network Access Manager. I uninstalled the whole Nvidia Network Access Manager. Hopefully that fixed my problem, and no more hourly crashes. Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to test it out in Arad until Wednesday. ><

Planetkeeper's right. I asked the DnF guys and you most commonly see this error when you get out of the game (manually or crash) and then try to get back in. Basically the game didn't close down properly. So just CTRL ALT DEL and look through your running processes to find gameguard. Close it down, and any instances of Arad that might still be running. This way you don't have to restart or anything.

So this failure isn't necessarily tied to the game. I don't know if that's good or bad to know. But I will tell you this, you don't need two firewalls and ZoneAlarm is fairly trustworthy. So it is completely safe for you to go without the NVIDIA Firewall, as you have chosen to do. If on the other hand you require the NVIDIA Access Manager and wish to keep it, you can still disable the firewall. If you don't want to disable it, you should be able to set allowances, so it doesn't block programs. To do so you have to get into the Active Armor menu, and use the "add rule" function. This is usually to allow connections, and I'm unsure what this will do for the program on the whole. Personally I recommend that you remove it and stick with Zone Alarm, but modification is an option.

What are you talking about! Midday, porings and I were on. Then later that night Richy, Chaos and I were all playing. And even while we were, k3m was off and on at the time, and Rasta was on and off as well. Wait, what is your new IGN? calibas ? I thought I added that.

GG thanks for the help leveling my EM. Or soon to be. I guess.

Also you absolutely MUST tell me how you got the IME working because after I deleted the ENGLISH input I had all sorts of trouble. I know I can switch to ascii but man, once I've alt tabbed back into the game, I can't switch from Ascii to Hiragana in the JP input.

Just make sure your default input language is Japanese Microsoft IME, then try switching between english input and hiragana input by holding down the Alt key and pressing the ` key. I don't thing it matters, but I use the left alt, and the ` is above the tab key on my keyboard.
