Hey guys,

I'm about to hit level 40 (glove sin) and want to purchase a hawk. Just wondering if you guys would recommend getting a pet, for instance are they useful for training?

First off are you buying a Hawk with your own cash/iPoints or are you planning to buy from a person in-game, if you are beware Pet scamming is very common.

Having a pet picking up your drops is awesome, it makes training easier.
If your rich and can afford cash pots to heal ur pets sp you can set your pet to atk mode and it will increase the speed of your training.

Thanks so much your replies are very helpful. Yes i'll be purchasing it with ipoints, and thanks for the warning about the pet scam.

So everytime your pet attacks (even for regular attacks) it uses its SP points?
I found pots you can buy to heal the pets hp points, but you need to purchase sp pots from the cash shops?

Its not everytime it atks it loses SP its after a certain amount of time it loses 0.01% SP.
HP Pots will drain your money becuase in atk mode your pet can be hit by monsters.
In Pick Up and Follow mode pet can't get hit by monsters and don't lose hp.
