Well since an other member also made a list with MMOs I'm making one also.
Here we go! Lunia (Global) (Cellshade / 3D Action Arcade MMORPG) http://global.lunia.com/main.asp [ OpenBeta phase ] Lunia is a korean MMO with arcade elements. It has a bit cellshaded graphics and it looks fabulous. Lunia has got 3 episodes now (ep. 4 and 5 will be there soon) and every episode has 10 stages. After you finished every episode (the originals also known as History) you start Legend which are the same episodes but much harder and requires more skill and higher levels and after Legend. You can also do Raids which requires more people to play (8 men max.). Lunia is an enjoyable game but after you finished 3-10 Legend and done all the Raids it gets a bit boring. (TIP! make a new character w/ different class) 8 / 10 Priston Tale (3D MMORPG) http://eng.pristontale.com [ Full Release ] I played this game many years ago when I was a small boy. I really loved this game, maybe because this was the only MMORPG I knew of. But still the game is fine, its not very difficult to play and it has some nice Quests and skills. The only thing I really didnt like is the customation of your character. When you play for the first time you see 100 clones of yourself walking there (this is because you cant change the eyes, hair (only 3 types) and body). 7 / 10 Trickster Online (2D w/ 3D elements MMORPG) http://tricksteronline.com [ Full Release ] This game is actually pure fun! It's very easy to level up, the community is nice and they give many Cash Shop events! The graphics are a bit Ragnarok Online-ish but it still has it's own style. The game is easy to play and very newb-friendly, also the game doesn't require a high-end PC! 8 / 10 MapleStory (SEA, Europe and Global) (2D Sidescrolling MMORPG) http://maplestory.com [ Full Release / BETA ] Yes, MapleStory.. a very popular/populated MMO. It requires a low-end PC to play and it's pretty much fun. If you like to level and spend much time in a MMO then MapleStory is the right choice for you! It's grindy, it's fun and it has pretty funny quests. Personally I don't like mindless grinding but some people do like it. 8 / 10 Tales of Pirates / Pirate King Online (3D MMORPG) http://top.igg.com/index.php [ Full Release ] One of the worst MMO's I played. Is it that worse? Actually yes it is. The quests are boring, it is really grindy and the skills are 'ewww'. Don't download this game! 4 / 10 Ghost Online (MY) (2D Sidescrolling MMORPG) go.gameflier.com.my [ Full Release ] MapleStory..Ghost Online what's the differents? Well, one big different between both is that Ghost Online has Guild PVP and PVP. Ghost Online has different graphics althought it isn't really THAT different. It is pretty grindy just like MapleStory and it plays almost the same. It is actually fun! And also for this game, it requires low-end PC's (ofcourse you can also play it on a high-end PC). 8 / 10 Warrock (Multiplayer FPS - Not a MMOFPS imo) http://warrock.net [ Full Release ] Warrock, a pretty well-known free FPS. I liked Warrock. It was fun, there were nice vehicles and my friend also played it which makes it more fun then it already is. But, after I played it for a while I didn't really enjoyed it as much as I did. I saw the bad-side of Warrock. The lag, the hackers everything. Warrock is not that bad and it mostly sucked because of the hackers and I think they got rid of most hackers now but the lag is still KILLING. Still, this game is pretty good for a free FPS. 7 / 10 Dream of Mirror Online (EU) (Cellshade MMORPG) http://domo.joypark.com.tw/English/GameInfo/Synopsis_01.aspx [ ClosedBeta phase ] DOMO, wow I wanted to play this game since the JP version came out. The graphics, the style and the gameplay it seemed to rock! And yes, it does rock. The european client is in CB now and an american company is coming with a DOMO client also. DOMO requires a mid-end PC to play so most people can enjoy this game. DOMO really rocks! You def. try it. 9 / 10 Nox (RPG, a bit Diablo-ish with Multiplayer options) http://noxforum.net -> then go to Downloads and install Nox [ Full Release ] Nox..what can I say. A very good singleplayer but also a very good multiplayer. You can do PVP, do quests with a party and Capture The Flag. You had to buy this game in store but you can now get it off the internet and play it. I really recommend this for PVP freaks! 7 / 10 Endless Online http://endless-online.com [ Alpha phase ] Endless Online!? Yes Endless Online, some people may know it as a 'shitty 2D MMORPG'. It is actually still shitty for a MMORPG. BUT! There is a nice community actually, you can find many nice people on there and you can always play EO out of boredom. Endless Online got a so-called PvP-arena which totally sucks and is 1 hit kill. It's version 0.28 right now and I play this since 0.12 in 2003/4 so yea it always kept me busy. If you are looking for a VERY GOOD MMORPG don't go with this cause this is a hobby project and not somekind of commercial MMORPG project. If you are just looking for a fun chat-game with elements of a MMORPG or got the shittiest PC in the world, go with this baby! ![]() 6 / 10 Updated ![]() Last edited by Budjha; 10-17-2007 at 08:25 PM.
