hard work and graft gets you places but i do think some people have a natural affinity for certain things.

thats why some people take up a hobby later in life and practice it where as others start from a really young age like 5 years old and then let it consume them totally.

I do believe in talent, I think someone with a lot of talent might excel better at his/her field than someone else, but I think hard work catches up to talent, it will just take more time.
