just say sorry, and tell her how you really feel.. you wont find a better opportunity. tell her something like that its because you care about her that you dont want to see her getting upset and wasting her time on him, and that you think she can do alot better.

If she's too dimwitted to realize what you said was truth, and only harbor hate in her heart for you. Then she's far too empty-headed to bother with.

Well, you were right to tell her what you think,
but you probably did it wrong, instead of calling her stupid,

you might want to tell her something of this sort -
" I think the guy you have been seeing/like is an idiot/jackass,
*example (reason)
*example (behavior)
*example
I know you're a smart girl so you should know you deserve better...
etc... (include yourself [here])"

just to keep in mind for next time.

now, you need to apologize and explain it, but think carefully so you don't say something that might insult her, then she'll hate you even more <.<
