guys i really want my liscense to go to work. But i have a problem, the school wont give me my certificate of attendance because i missed more than 10 days last year. I already have my permit for over a year and im in 12th grade 17 years old. I wont turn 18 til april so thats really long.
Heres the question Do the driving places really check your attendance once you give them the certificate or if you have one they will just say ok go take the test. I was wondering if i get my friend to get hers and i photoshop it to my name will that work? Will they see my name then say ok or will they actually check the records. I know sumone here knows thankx guys |

Love how your Xfire profile states that you're 26, and that you've played World of Warcraft for 69 hours. But that's probably because I'm childish.
Anyway, it's different over here. We can stay off for as long as we want as long as we bring a note in when we come back! Although, that's how it works most of the time. There's also this thing called a provisional drivers licence, where you can legally drive if there's an adult in the vehicle. A huge teddy bear works for the most part also. |

It's all dependant on your state laws.
For instance, here in Texas, once you've had a permit for six months and a validation that you have completed drivers ed, you get a license at the DMV. Seriously, no final test. There is a test for the permit, though. I remmber that from my HS days, it was a mandatory attendance of 6 days per year so that the school could recieve the money from the state for your attendance. If you didn't know, Texas is very big on makeing sure their minors get a High School education, even though many drop out at the legal age of 17. ome to think of it, that might be your problem. You've missed more than 10 days of school at the age of 17 implies that you've unofficially droped out of school, you'd be lucky to get you HS Diploma. Essentially, its an automatic withdrawl from HS, congradulation, you accidentally joined the dropouts.
