Default Winamp 5.5 is SWEET

Winamp, only the best music player(next to foobar, which is as good as winamp, just more customizable), has done some major updates and have make it truly a kick-*** media player.
First, the skin has been completely redone into something thats actually kick-*** and perfect for all the power users.
Course, like it's always been able to, it works with tons of portable media players(including all the new iPods)
Easy access to your whole collection from any computer system
Album art(finally!)
They also have an auto-tagger to fix all your broken music tags

And best of all? The best visualizer that used to be a third-party plug-in is now winamp standard. Milkdrop 2.0 is now released with winamp.

The media library view(note: thats only half of my music collection)

Intergrated visualizer!

The auto-tagger confuses me in a good way. I ripped a song from a YTMND, and the file name was b4c0d56cd5bef061d458dde392a2578c.mp3. And it could still label it. Is the music tag still preserved in YTMND's or something?

And that other thing that comes with Winamp 5.5...do I need that? Because I kept getting an error when trying to install it. I think it's called Winamp Remote.

Oh and Milkdrop 2.0 is fukken sexy.

I hated the other Winamp skins so much it hurted.

This update is pretty substantial, but I just love flicking through my album art which took me quite a while to find with cover flow in iTunes.

Well its good that they finally updated it, the old interface was ugly at least the one I had. FabianN you know if theres a extension that can put it into Firefox, like FoxyTunes?

Why have they yet add seperate association icons! All other programs do it. Its the reason I like foobar. *sigh*

I also with the skins was more the base skin and more customizable so I could add my own tabs and junk. Otherwise I like it.

The remote is to access your music library from other computers. Not required.

I really don't understand the problems people claim to have with iTunes. I mean, other than EVERYONE else using it...why do people have so many issues with it? I always liked WinAMP, but, iTunes is superior IMO.
