Its really no problem...
get your new hard drive in your hands, if you already use a hard drive, and you are adding one, read your manual and set the jumper setting to Slave according to your hard drive, and make sure the first hard drive's setting is set to Master (some hard drives call it Master with Slave) disconnect your computer, open it up, situate your new hard drive in a hard drive slot, tighten the bolts, Jumper: (set according to hard drive manual) ![]() then plug the IDE cable to your hard drive (hopefully you'll already have an IDE cable thats has more than one connector, if not you'll need to buy one, more cables usually come with the motherboard though). IDE: ![]() plug in the power to the hard drive (im quite sure you'll have some power connectors free from the PSU). the one on the right is the power cable that goes into the hard drive ![]() boot up the computer, if everything goes well, you've done it right, if the computer doesn't boot windows, don't worry, fiddle with the settings until you get it right ( no harm done). (this is my first post in months, I haven't quite been around )
