Default i need a thieves guide

they say to build a good thief, you need to give it all DEX and luck. but I've noticed although i add DEX, my character deals little damage, and doesn't always move faster every time i lvl up and add DEX points. i need to know. since my main character is a thief, do i need to give it nothing but DEX and luck, or should i sometimes give it some strength points too?

a good thief is

dex= 2xlvl
and rest in luck

so everytime u lvl 2dex 3luk

i made this because u need dex=2xlvl for all equips so i use min dex have more luk and i do more dmg

also if u going sin then at lvl 30 u can get cryt att so ull do uber dmg like bowman

kk, thx!

but i just thought about something. i think i understand what "dark lord" was talking about. sure warriors may depend on strength and defense all the time, thieves don't. sure warriors may have strong attacks, but sometimes they are also slow, while thieves make little damage with there attacks, but putting together
a bunch of small attacks and preforming all of them in just seconds, make a bunch of big damage, and thieves can dodge better...........now i understand i think.
