I'm trying to make a decent computer with $350

You could get a 40$ AMD processor card but it will be slow when you play a online game. You also need fans, DVD drive/burner.

my brother built his own computer and used over $8,000

so i predict 350 won't get u far

If that amount of money, you're better off buying a stolen/borrowed laptop
from a professional B&E employee.
