Also, check out Modern Life Is War, and Death Before Dishonor, for something LIKE metal, but...different. If you like the two latter bands, I have WAAAY more.

(its hardcore, theres a difference from metal and hardcore, you'll notice when you listen).

Thats Modern Life Is War. DEADRAMONES. The BEST song ever. That video sends chills down my spine (I've been to quite a few of their shows) They are the best modern hardcore band around, everyone who sees them live knows it. If you only check out one band listed here, make it them.

Thats IfHopeDies. I'm in that video I'm near the edge of the pit playing with the balloons at the end, I was in the pit the rest of the time, but thats not where the camera was >_<

I'm a fan of MCR but I have to say. NO to the kid who posted MCR.

Ontopic-Avenged Sevenfold and Breaking Benjamin are pretty good. Don't listen to any of the new avenged sevenfold stuff it's all crap.

Mhmm. But it is true theres only a few (hundred?, thousand?) people who like a genre such as Rap/HipHop, seriously, and can listen to a genre like Metal to a way of respecting it. I grew up liking Pop, Rock, Punk, and Trance music, because of my sister. I listened to w/e she listened to. I started to like Rap/HipHop during 6th grade, and I started leaning towards it more by the months. But, I still listen to my old routes in music, being every other genre, cept things like country, or blues.

anyways,

I'm surprised none of you guys mentioned Dragon Force. They have some crazy rifiting in their songs, and I don't even listen to them. I only seen Francesco, his brother, and some others post videos of them.

Dragonforce don't scream in their music, otherwise powergamer would've mentioned them, and I'd be talking about Dream Theater.
