Not alot. Warhammer has a smaller fanbase than Warcraft and Final Fantasy.

True, but they hype fanbase for Warhammer are WoW players and people who want it to kill WoW.

Oddly enough the game draws it's hype base not from it's own fanboys. But from WoW players and WoW anti-fanboys alike.

with 479 K people already signed up for beta, and the amount of awards and hype this game has been getting everyone is kinda stirred about what this game will actually deliver.

So it doesnt make sense based on the "summer" hype. Again all you can do is go by the factual number of active subscribers that was given by the official source. To assume anything else because you feel it should be less is retarded in nature.

Sorry Shift, call me an idiot and a retard, but Arc's numbers makes alot of sense to me.
China server was dropping fast until expansion reached.
School is back in session, many of the WoW players ended subscription to focus on studies.
The anticipation of WARHAMMER.

---------------------------------
If we talking subscriber numbers, I still think that WoW was just a better game for the mass market and that FFXI was still a better game for content.

Any end gamer (60 + play days(that's of time actually in game)) on both games would tell you that FFXI is the better game.

But not many people have the patience/tact/time to really invest in a game like FFXI. Many people I know who hated it generally say stuff along the lines of "This game is so f'n unbelievably tedious, because the community was probably unsuportive and the game mechanics difficult to master.

For now if your a new game, WoW is best played on a free server, get FFXI and wait out for WARHAMMER.

WoW should not be played on a free server, I repeat, WoW should NOT be played on a free server. Free servers for WoW totally blow, they are bugged to hell, and do not give you any feel to how the original game is like, even if they kept everything the same as blizz.

If anyone is basing their comments on WoW from a free server perspective, please gtfo. (Not directing it at you gobsied).

Both Games I haven't played but I think I will go over with FFXI just because I had it when I was young, my first feel of Rpg was DBZ on Family Computer, that was the time Super Mario and Contra Famous. Then NES came and my Final Fantasy Adventure started. It's hard to kill old habits and familiarization of the name Final Fantasy
