From February 2006 to October 2007 Togashi had been on "sick leave" from his current manga Hunter × Hunter. Hunter x Hunter made its return on October 6, 2007." <- thats just a month ago?

Yes, apparently, it was announced in a recent Shounen Jump Magazine that Yoshiro Togashi will be starting up the manga again. It is not certain that the anime will be starting again though but there is a good chance (unless I'm mistaken).

You mentioned the "anime" so I'm guessing you haven't read the manga? If so, maybe you could read that in the meantime?

Hunter X Hunter is one of the best animes alive.

I have a feeling it will come back, because then they can milk it.. and maybe get rights to go to NA, so even more episodes will show up.

Yeah, Hunter X Hunter is a great anime/manga, but I don't think I'll be watching the anime anytime soon.

I honestly think that the Greed Island arc of the anime was too short, and not enough character development. What if the Chimera Ant arc ends up like that?

So I am content with reading the manga...

trust me after this long *** wait....The Chimera Ant arc is gonna be long and action packed.
