Use Bloodshed Dev-C++. It's really easy to use.

VS is like a 20-stone glammed-up hooker.
Slowwww and ugly. A friend of mine who works at EA uses Code::Blocks. But I have always used Dev-C++ I'd say, try Dev-C++, if you don't like it, move onto something like C::B. |

Have you used VS 2008? or even 2005? The interface is quite nice and intuitive if you ask me, and I've never had any trouble with speed using it on my machine.
Borland's C++ Builder and Dev-C++ are also good choices, I'd just start using one and get used to it. Last edited by mikemurz; 12-30-2007 at 11:41 PM. |
