Why cant i quit playing this awsome game?!

Seems every now and then i get this really deep urge to play the game and eventually i do....but then i get tired of it and quit....that ever happen to you guys? What is it about FFXI that makes us quit, then months later we can wait to pick it up again lol.

I've quit and rejoined a few times..

I think it's just the game has something which makes you want to play again.

I don't know either, but you're not the only one.

It's a pretty addicting game. You can get bored of it for like a week, but you will always come back to it.

i feel ya, i got a game ive been playing on and off your 7+ years
its just so addictive i duno why but its just fun and i like spending time on it
but uh a suggestion to help you
i guess you could just not think about it and go play another game xD

same thing for me. I quit a few times, and came back. I can't get away!!!

Is the game worth coming back too? I havent played it in over 3 years.. and was wondering if the community was still there. Also I heard that there isnt much low lvl parties to get from anymore... is that true?

Yeaahhh, I know exactly what you mean. For some reason, no matter what other MMORPG I go to, within a couple months I am back to FFXI. What is bad however is that whenever I do come back, I quit that same month. This time i'm going back and am going to try to stay longer haha.

Well apparently theres pretty much a dead lowbie community, buuuut with the new expansion due people will be leveling Dancer and Schollar so it should liven up a bit.
What gets me is there are 1000-4000 people per server yet no noobs >.<

Anywho, I'm going to start as soon as possible and hopefully beat/ meet the release for WotG.

Heh, I've been getting that urge recently yet again too, I donno why I can't avoid the game, its like the minute someone mentions FFXI I'm like "Oh man.. I so wanna play now.. STOP TORMENTING ME!" lol ._.
