Since the restart, I get to post this topic another time.
Seriously, I'm posting about a Browser-based MMORPG for those that want a game that doesn't gobble up their time (limited turns, but can get additional turns if you want). Graphics freaks won't find it to their liking. It is more a game of deep content and subtle planning of moves. I started playing it after runescape grinded me out after 5 months of play. And so far, I'm still on the game since last November. The game is "The Damned Isle" (link at the end of the post). T' was an isle where i started my adventure, and I swear, that isle was damned for sure, Nations from Spiders to Orcs roamed the land; Damned in their quest to subdue it to their hand; (It is a shame this poem has to rhyme: My preference is for blank verse any time.) But be wary when there is no friend and all are foe, When on the Isle shines a moon of the bloodiest red glow, You're doomed if you wanted to run n hide but lost your way, Because you would likely end up being someones red moon buffet Be wary of black-skinned creatures lurking to prey; With fangs and razor claws shredding your heart away; And when its over, this blood moon thing, Then you can hear Templeton sing, "The bloodmoon and its cries of woe Oh how I hate to see it go For bragging rights subside in time I'll hold on to memories so sublime And wait impatiently in caves down under Till the moon turns red and again I plunder But now dream sweatly in your beds For next bloodmoon, you'll all be dead" When the Master of Weavers you slay; And the King of the Orcs beat in a fray; You are a most-fearsome warrior indeed; With few to compare in skill and deed; When the mighty Wyvern of the desert are to your will subdued; And the fearsome beastmen of the forset recognize you with dread; Then you are truly a warrior of the Damned Isle rare; Distinguished by your legendary tales of awe and fear; Fear the Goblin with teeth razor sharp Fear even more when they play the harp And when they play the harp they dance.. They dance!!! Oh Noooos!!! Best not end up as there partner if you dont want to hurt your toes Tremble before the Orc who says it plays the trumpet Before it begins clench your fist and thump it And the Dwarf who breathes deep to begin a song Run away, you don't have that long But love the Archdemon who breaks out his decks For the Devils music is better than Sex... Damnation flowing around and streaming like a waterfall; In full strength during rain season crushing mightly all; Creatures and objects that fall in the path of its rampage; Mercilessly, barbarously, indiscriminately sowing carnage; Upon the the feeble and weak fools who stand in its path; Only very few see the full horror and live to recall its wrath; |
