World of Warcraft - great gameplay hardly ever gets boring, pvp is great Lineage 2 - Great graphics not too much to do end-game though seiges are nice Nexus TK - 2D addictive game, takes a while to get used to, better than maplestory and originally from the makers of maplestory xD F2P Perfect world - Combination of L2, WoW, and other games, havent really played end-game or anything but from what ive read seiges are pwnage and pvp is cool Private servers - lol

Quote for Truth. You're going to miss out on a lot of fun games because you judge them on their graphics. A lot of people refuse to play Shadowbane because the graphics are somewhat dated, but it's a pretty decent game, really good if you like PVP. The only thing I don't like about it is that a lot of the game seems to be more so based on casting, rather than melee combat. Even like, Fighter advance classes use spell casts rather than just smack people (although they do a lot of that too.) And the speedy melee classes, like Thieves and Night Stalkers rely on weapon procs, and most assassins cast, rather than go for the melee weapon procs, but they do big damage so it's fine by me. Vampire mage-assassin FTW.

Uhm, aside from the graphics, Goonzu may suit your needs. It's like 2D isometric, but with like, highly detailed sprites and environments. There's like, cooking and crafting, and town building, and you can become the mayor of a town, and collect taxes and shit I think, or you can like, try to become an emperor maybe? And if you don't want to do that stuff, you can run around and smack monsters with some pointy object.
The first time I played it, some weird glitch happened where the opening quest wouldn't start or something, and I couldn't leave the starting area as a result of this, so I quit the game. Every few weeks though, when I get tired of my current poorly made MMORPG, I always try to download it, but the Fileplanet download keeps freezing at like 275 KB, it's really annoying, because this looks and sounds like it would be a really interesting game. |
