Games in which people actually roleplay

I'm looking for online games in which roleplaying is preferably enforced, but if some other game has a sizeable community of RPers I'd appreciate it if you were to recommend it as well. I'm not particular about graphics or ingame systems, I'm just looking for a game with a decent playerbase made up of people who actually want to enjoy the game and relax, instead of dicking around yelling "YOU F****** NOOB " at everything that moves.

LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online).

You will find a lot of people generally Role Playing around in any area in that game. It's a fun game too, with a good community. Pretty mature about everything, and the Role Play doesn't just stick to the game itself, speaking about Middle Earth and such. It also varies just about race, and life itself. Try it out.

I'm pretty sure Face of Mankind is really RP. The game somewhat relies on it, as you have to like, play the part of a patrol man or like a captain of a squad, and like, PVP combat seems more like it's faction wars based on events in game kind of? It seems really in depth with the RP. Apparently subscribing is prohibited currently, as the like, games financial support backed out or something, so the game might shut down soon, but the developer I think? said he wants to continue running the game as he still owns the rights to it or something, so the rumor is, it will be F2P soon, but at the soonest, not until the end of november...

It's like sci-fi, political, military style MMORPG though, not fantasy.
