Nice list I find myself looking at specs first before deciding on a game. But in my recent experience in just going for it, I found that on low settings I can play most games. so just because high specs are listed doesn't mean you can't play at all.
windows xp sp3 1.6ghz
nvidia gefore 512 mb
1gb ram

and I was able to play Rift which I thought was gonna explode my computer.
I'm sad because I can't play APB reloaded which I tried and failed miserably.

Check out MUDs, MOOs, MUSHs, MUSEs. They are all older than any of the games you mentioned. Some are older than internet. A mud is a Mutli-User Dungeon, muse is a multiuser simulated environment.They are text based. But other than that they are quite worthwhile if you are willing to check them out. Varied, addictive, they play fast on old machines. And many of them allow you to add to them.

It has been around for nearly 10 years and has MUCH more to do (storyline, quests, crafting, pvp, so much more) than most rpgs on the market today! Don't let the graphics fool you! It is based on OLD SCHOOL rpgs! And has new content added ALL THE TIME! Right now in the past week there have been 5 updates!

I think it is very fun and addictive. I like how it is action-oriented, not just click attack and use a potion now and then. It is mostly keyboard based and it is possible to use a controller as well!
