So I got a Nintendo DS for my birthday recently, along with Avatar, The Burning Earth. The game lasted six hours (And cost $30) and now I'm looking for something else. Sadly, the venture isn't proving anywhere near as easy as I first thought it might.
I know all of the obvious picks, like Zelda, Age of Empires II and Pokemon, I am here to humbly emplore you to give me a few hints as to other good games (Though they don't neccecarily have to have high ratings on Gamespot or IGN). I would prefer ones you have personally played, and can thus give an honest opinion on it, and any genre will do (Though I prefer RPG, Adventure and Stratagy). Low prices would be nice, but I'm not averse to spending a few bucks on something thats worth playing. I'd also like something that will give me a challenge, but as long as it is fun I'll be good. Thanks in advance.

Well I can give you a few suggestions:
1. Sonic Rush - If you've ever played any of the Sonic Advance games and liked them then you'll love this game. Here you can play as Sonic or Blaze (new character) and as always when you collect all chaos emeralds and finish the game you get the special stage where you play as Super Sonic and Super Blaze. I wouldn't consider this game as the kinda game you play frequently but one that you play on and off. But I can assure you that this game is quite fun. 2. Jump Ultimate Stars - Every time someone asks for NDS games I always end up mentioning this game. It's japanese only but since they work on any NDS console it's not really a problem and it is the best portable game I have ever played, no joke, but to like it you need to like the Super Smash Bros. fighting games since it playes very similar to that. The only difference is you have a HP gauge. It's basically a game in which you control characters from about 50 different mangas. It's a fighting game with an RPG feel to it since you have to build your "decks" with characters of different abilities. I could go on forever about this game but if you want to know more go on youtube and search for the Jump Ultimate Stars Review. If I think of any more I'll edit my post but I hope I helped a little, and I hope I managed to convince at least 1 person to buy JUS. |
