I am looking for an mmorpg that is NOT based on a mindless grind. Although it would be awesome for it to basically be an fps with swords I understand that other then rakion which is buggy that is kind of not out there yet in an mmorpg.
Yes I am looking for an mmorpg with heavy pvp but also one thats not built around a 2 month grind to hit the highest level then a grind for gear so you can pvp better. WoW had the right idea but basically im looking for a gem in the mmo world... a game without a system that makes you feel like your working just so later on a month or so later you can have fun PvPing. Now there might be a game similar to what I want but it might be in korean or chinese I would like you to suggest that game if there is any possible way I could play in it successfully IF it is a game that does not require grinding and is based mostly on skill with gear helping somewhat and has generally fun innovative gameplay. Please do not suggest any completely foreign language mmorpgs unless you think its like the best game ever because I don't want to waste time going through the hassle of figuring one out to find out oops >_<. I am not trying to be mean just trying not to waste time on something that won't work out ![]() Go ahead and start throwing out some suggestions I doubt I will find one but I figured since I never did this mmo request thing I would give it a whirl. Just a few games I don't want mentioned because I've ruled them out.World of warcraft Rakion Gunz RYL2 Legend of Ares ( I don't like clicking to move) Any and all games that have a grind like that of everquest Maplestory Last edited by Shalak; 06-26-2006 at 02:51 PM. |

Well i dont know if it is perfect for you but i think you might like nexustk, its a pretty fun game if your into gameplay over graphics. It's p2p though, 10 bucks a month. You will probobly be turned off by the fact that its 2d and your paying so damn much for it but trust me, its at least worth a try.

i havent played WoW nor have i wanted to (i dont like blizzard and the whole community just seems sorta bad)
i LOVE ryl2, even if its overun by malaysians which isnt exactly a bad thing becuase most malaysians are nice, it might be kind of hard at first to get how to do everything and where everything is but if you and a friend get on or someone that knows whats going on and they show it its fairly easy to get whats going on, were to go, etc. it takes about 3 days straight (sence its summer than shudnt be long) to get lvl 60 or so and if you know what to train on its not too hard, goto www.continue.to/mistik and goto the guides and tips forum and were developping a lvling guide there (; i might post it in the ryl2 forums as well when its finished.. if you dont like ryl2 well CoV/CoH was OK, WAAAY to hard to lvl up though and its p2p so i dont think youd like it very much =\ had a nice guild system though... |
