I usually use Yahoo to find stuff, and SOMETIMES google. I hope this works.

if google doesnt work to find directx go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/M...displaylang=en
and download it from there its a link to a microsoft web page so there wont be n e viruses or nothing but i still think its bc ur missing a .dll file but who knows i would have to look at ur comp to figure it out

LOL! Win98 is an Operating System not a PC.

You can check ur spec, just right click on My computer and select properties. You can find most of the infos ur looking for.
