Well thats perfect for all of those, specially if you aren't doing hardcore gaming. You might wanna buy a mouse, though. The onboard finger mouse isn't good for FPS's. Hell, any game.

There's really one thing that makes or breaks a laptop, battery life. If it can't run for a few hours without help of an outlet then you might want to shop around a bit more. Another thing is weight, you don't want to be carrying around some seven pound monstrosity everywhere you go, make sure to buy one that's fairly lightweight and portable. Right now I'm running a 17" Fujitsu, and the weight and battery life essentially reduce it to a desktop role, something I didn't really want.
