HDTV as a pc monitor?

Can this Tv be used as a PC moniter

It has a VGA plugin?

And do HDTVs play Pc stuff nice?

I dunno, but at my friend's house, I saw his father's PC had a screen as big as my TV. Not sure if it was actually a HD TV.

i've always wondered about this kind of stuff

is it possible to using your tv as a monitor and your monitor as a tv?

Yes, it's possible. You'll need an S-video cable to connect from the PC to the TV.

Keep in mind though, that it's going to look awful. Even if you're running on something like 1440x900 resolution, on a TV screen that's only a corner at best, and it's being stretched out onto the whole thing. On top of that, there's usually a bit of delay between the PC and the TV thanks to the connection, though it's rarely noticeable.

I use an hdtv and it looks great, although of course I don't use an s-video, I use
DVI.

We used to do it with the Mac Mini (replaced the DVD player with it)...as long as you have a HDTV, you should be fine...we didn't, and text is IMPOSSIBLE to read on it.

Well, you do need an output cable thingy. I mean, my friends playing on his labtop on a 64" HDTV. Ofcourse you can play it

I didnt read the description of the tv though, but yeh. too lazy, i got school in 6 minutes.

Remember VGA and S-Video only support 480i. You need a DVI port if you want HD, as DVI will go as far as 720p.

If I remember correctly, there are supposed to be less colors as well.
