Ok..

Zero no Tsukaima is pretty good, and I have alot to say about this anime.

Spoiler: highlight to see it clearly :

Season 1 : the saito-love-big-breasts jokes are really funny, and I laughed at every single of it~ However, it gets repetitive, I didn't laugh at all when they did it in Season 2 ( Ok, I did it during episode 12 ). I admired Kugimiya Rie for her role as Louise, but she can get somewhat annoying when she explodes on nearly every single thing.

And I expected Louise to have a change in her character towards Saito in Season 2, apparently not. She said she wouldn't use the the word "dog", and yet she continued doing it, calling various things like "Hentai Inu !! Ero-Inu !! Baka Inu !!"

I mean, if you do it a few times and you evenly distribute it around the 12 episodes, I can guarantee there is a 100% satisfaction. However, they use it like, more than 5 times in each and every single episodes, making it a total of 60+ "dog" scenes.
I can't blame the Seiyuus for it.. it is not their fault.

Enough of my negative views, now for the positive ones.

Romance, ok, I love the romance, the relationship between Saito and Louise.
It is been a long time since I saw a boy confessing his love for another girl, most of the anime I have seen ... there is no development. However in ZnT, there can be some tear-jerking scenes, this can be seen when Saito uses the sleeping potion on Louise in order to take her place and fight the war. Pretty touching, isn't it?

I am glad they got married. Though it may not be official, but they are together.
There is also differences in ideology ( a right word to use ? ) Oh well, Saito and Louise came from different world, I am sure either of them are not be able to adapt to their lifestyles, they did not practice mutual tolerance ( Well.. it is difficult anyway ). Even though Saito hate "nobility", he is willing to risk his life and protect Louise. This can be been again in the sleeping potion incident, he would rather give up his life than seeing Louise losing hers. In fact, if Saito didn't make the silly joke about the elf, I am sure season 2 will gain higher recognition ( My knowledge tells me that people are giving this anime an average rating of 5 or 6 ). He could have done something like a kiss, saying " I love you ", or even a hug, concluding the whole of the season and left us good memories. But, THEY USED THE STUPID BREAST JOKE TO END IT. This is called "disappointment".

Looking forward to season 3 ( If there is one, since no explanation is given regarding that elf ) .. to see more development. in their romance, with Louise stop calling Saito a dog, and Saito putting an end to his breasts-joke. If they manage to do all this.. it is a perfect score for me.

Task Achievement :

Storyline - 6/10. Why? Because they rushed, a mere 12/13 episodes are not enough, if each season comprises of 26 episodes, with just a few episodes of fillers, less of the "dog" and "breast" jokes, sticking closely to the novel itself, it is a 10.

Animation - 10/10. Why? Anything that is pleasing to my eyes is a 10/10.

Voice Actors/Actress - 10/10: Now, you have Kugimiya Rie, Satoshi Hino & Ayako kawasumi! What is more to comment, really?

Music 10/10: I believe the songs are sung specially for this anime, since the lyrics matches the theme perfectly!

Character development - 8/10: Oh.. they did it well, and hence the sufferings of the storyline. I am glad they did away with the maid somehow, I hate love triangles.

Conclusion - 43/50: If you are looking for real deep storyline, I suggest don't even care about watching ZnT at all. Otherwise, join in a world full of magic, action and comedy!

I am sorry to say this SnowyAce but, I would love to wait till tales of memories end before I start watch it.. not saying that it is bad.. but I would prefer to have completed series..

Now my new preferences:

Genre : Specifically romance/action/comedy, mainly romance.

So.. I am left with
Ah! My Goddess, Doujin Work, Genshiken and Code Geass. Can someone help me to start off ..? Or some more suggestions..

Tenjou Tenge - Fighter anime ALOT of fighting and occasional flashing of the panty be warned!
Yu-Yu Hakusho - Really cool anime and it's really old but man is good!
Flame of Recca - Fighting anime and really interesting
Strawberry Panic - Well my cousin says this is an action, romance and most of all it's Yuri =D!
Tenshi Muyo - Really imaginative and it has everything lol!
Outlaw Star - Never seen most of it but I wanna see it, and it'd be something you'd be interested in.
XXXHolic - Kind of lacking on the artwork but yeah it's really interesting ghost stories and it was made by a bunch of girls so don't judge to much on the male influence ...
Zombie Loan - It's about a girl who gets mixed up with these 2 guys that are really zombie but then they tell her that they're good zombies and the ferryman twists there fate so that they can be alive and work for him.
Mushi-shi - Really touching anime I mean really!

Well anyways try watching some of these!

Finish Serial Experiments Lain. I understand if you can't handle it's confusing storyline, though if you take it as an artistic trip at expressing philosophy then you can appreciate it very much. Has a lot of messages and thought-provoking themes in it. As a whole I think it's near a masterpiece.

Check out:

-Now and Then, Here and There (Starts off slow, but it's worth it in the end)

-Berserk (Some of the fight scenes are like slide show, but it's packed full of emotion.)

I've seen more anime movies/OVAs than series and I'm a bigger fan of mindful action, or thought-provoking storylines than drama, romance, comedy, etc. Not into the ecchi/hentai stuff.

Berserker also has naked people and you can't see there nipples and no penises :o!
I remember 2 parts in berserker when that girl slept with the guy in the tent to keep him warm.
Then there was the kid flashback and he was running around with no nipples and stuff then he comes accross his father or something and the nasty thing was, was when the dog was looking straight at the father's hip when he was sitting in the chair talking to the boy lol!

Yeah I know the parts you're talking about. It's not straight hentai or ecchi though, it just has some adult themes. There's rape and torture too but it's mostly implied rather than shown. Overall it's a great series, I just don't like how they severed any ending. Well, the ending was implied I suppose but they don't show you. Can't believe they never revived the series and continued it.
