New graphics card - General

well this is whats in my computer

and i want to get a new graphics card which is like £40 i originally had Nvidia Geforce 7600 and i want a good one

i'm not very good/knowledgable about these things so i'm just gonna ask for your advice

if you ived in the united states you could get a 8800 for cheap on black friday(day after thanksgiving). which is tommorow.

But it really depends on what kind of games you want to play,if ur a mmo gamer get a 8800 series,itll last you for a while.but if you're into Just games you will have to change your processor and ram and alot other things.

just wow basically the ram and processor work wow fine, i just need a new graphics card and like i said i need a cheap one the 8800 is like £270 while i noticed some of them are like 8300 for quite cheap but i dunno if theres something that dosen't make them good

please help

get a 8500 or 8600 thoes are cheap,i believe this friday one of them are for like 99$,i believe in your currency is like 70.

yes but remember, a lot of things in Europe are more expensive even in euros, so it'll be about 100 euroes to buy

well 8600 is usually around 100 and 8500 is around 45, 8300 to 400 is around 20-30 are any of those good? i'd rather go for the ones under 50

8600 or X1950Pro, good cards...
when you talk about mid-range cards, ATI wins the Price/Performance ratio.

ok so say i wanted to pay something less then 40 quid would some of the 8500s be good? seriously i know like 0 about graphics cards and i do have a money limit
