Well, soloing to level 10 is pretty quick. Make sure to cast any/all debuffs you have on the mob (this goes in parties too, if you don't have a RDM). When you're soloing from 1-10, make sure you get a Bronze Hammer at level 5, cause it's the best melee weapon a WHM can use until level 10. I use Staves in parties for the MP boost, but Wands are good too for the MND boost.

Ahh, thanks. ^^ Been holding back on buying stuff like Spells atm since I need to sell some Crystals. But I think I can afford that Hammer and the spells I can use for now... I hope.

It's important that you get Cure II before heading to the dunes.

Focus on gear with gives +MND or +MP. Depending on your play style.

Ah, don't like to bother people for that stuff. Why not just play it like everyone else does and work at it? ^^

So, what are the different styles of WHMs? Like ones geared towards MND or MP? What's really the difference..?

Well, basically, play the way you think white mage should be played.

Some people prefer to have more MP so they can last longer without resting. Other prefer to have more MND because it gives bonuses to spell effectiveness.
Or some do a mix.

It's all down to you. ^^

However from 1-20 that shouldn't effect you too much.

Yay, your old avi! I like that one a lot for some reason.

On-Topic: I hate how some people just hate dealing with say, Japanese players. I put that I will party with Japanese, English, and French people. And last night I was in a party with a Japanese ermm, BLM I think... Even though the translator could be a LOT better, it was easy to communicate, even if we just used "^^" as an ok or /nod and /point to let eachother know things. Simple as that... 'Twas fun!

Anywho, I couldn't find a Bronze Hammer in a show in San d'Oria, so I looked in the AH and it was like... 2k, and I didn't have that much (12 more Earth Crystals and I can buy it), but I did manage to buy the other spells I can use at my level (Poisona, Dia, and Banish).

Oh, and it turns out my old 7 Black Mage, Nuuya WAS on Sylph... But he was in Windurst... Sucks that I started over, but I was a Taru last time and I would rather be Hume and in San d'Oria with more people I know. ^^

Anyway, as for bronze hammers, NPCs in bastok sell them for about 400gil.

Aggh, not going to Bastok for a Hammer... Turns out someone in my Linkshell (A different one than yours) bought it for me (It was 2k on AH) and I didn't have to pay them. ;D Gettin' to level 7 today, as well... LAST DAY OF MY BREAK! Then school tomorrow...

Anyway, can't wait to hit 18 and get my Sub job... Or for level 10 so I can buy new armor and stuff... Newby armor is starting to annoy me...
