My friend just said his account is banned for 72 hours and idont know why either does he.. I kno all day he was trying to buy guild wars skill packs and it would come up with a message saying something like "Processor marked paymet as likly to be fraudulent" but i know he always seems to have money in-game so if you buy gold is it a 72 hour ban? Whatever account your friend used to attempt to purchase his skill pack was deemed to be a fraud by the system.
Either your friend is using a stolen credit card, in which case he deserves much worse than a 72-day ban, or the system thinks he's trying to buy it with money he probably doesn't have.

His one new credit card he had to call to let the order go through because of some new cardmaster holder thing on his new visa.
But people gotta stop jumping to conclusions liek this "Either your friend is using a stolen credit card, in which case he deserves much worse than a 72-day ban, or the system thinks he's trying to buy it with money he probably doesn't have. " But its all good because he could play now ![]() |

"or the system thinks he's trying to buy it with money he probably doesn't have".
That's exactly what happened. The server had multiple purchase requests, all coming from the same credit card number, that was declining transaction requests. Thus, there's one of two possibilities, based on the data that the GW system has: A: The card has been stolen and the account closed down B: The account has reached its credit limit - there's no money left It's not jumping to conclusions, it's stating the obvious.

His new visa has so Anti-fraud thing and he had to call or go on his account through the visa website and allow they payment to go through and since he didnt it marked it as fraud and then play nc marked his account not to accept orders. But its resolved after talking to them through Ask A question on plaync

I didn't say anything about what was actually the case - I said what the system thought was happening. Based on the information the GW system had, it was a fraudulent transaction and labelled as such. Nowhere did I state anything about it actually being fraudulent, only that the system percieved it as such.
