Elemental swords whats the big deal? - Guildwars

Whats the big deal about elemental swords i dont think the skin is that great id rather a fell blade or a Plagueborn sword.

If anyone wants one its an Elemental Sword 15-22 (15% dmg while health is above 50) +30 health and 20/20 armor penetration ----- Ill sell it for 60k

alrdy sold it ingame

Because it looks like the Sword of Fire and Ice from Magic: The Gathering's Darksteel expansion.

And it's unique, in that no other sword had that same skin -- even a green one. Plus when there was no Hard Mode yet, they rarely dropped. It was also a Nightfall-only skin. Thus the demand for it, and the prices.

With Eye of the North out now, they could now be farmed outside Rata Sum too.
And Nightfall's a year old, prices of these items have gone down a bit. People have found out how to farm them, and supply has quite met the demand. It still commands a high-ish price though (like your 60k price tag).

But personally i won't buy one that i can (learn to) farm for myself

Inventory is full too, so getting one is low priority heheh...

I dont find it a huge deal its better to farm, pick up junk as well and sell.. earned a lot more before prices went down in DoA.. earned around 30-40k in a few hours.. But when the build was released everything is down to dullish..
