TB Adventure http://www.tbadventure.com - I would say one of the better browser games. It has about an average of 100 people on at once.

Runescape http://www.runescape.com - Probably the best or on of the best browser games, but alot of people hate it. About 200k people on at once.

Lands of Kazram http://www.landsofkazram.com - It has OK graphics, but it is shut down for now and it kind of stinks.

Sherwood http://www.maidmarian.com/sherwood.htm - Best GRAPHICS EVER for a browser game. Some downloadable games might not even be able to top them.

Tank ball http://www.maidmarian.com/tank.htm - Kind of hard to control your charatcer in the game, but pretty addicting and fun overall.

http://www.maidmarian.com - It has a bunch of browser games, but only two dealing with combat and two where you just drive around and two not multiplayer.

Blood & Role play http://www.barponline.com - I find it extremely fun. There are no levels you just buy stuff and fight and get experience.
The more experience you get the higher ranks!
Like you'll be a beginner
then something else.
BUT, graphics are ehhh you're like a picture roaming around and about 10 players on at once.
Nice community.
You can set the picture as anything did I tell you lol?

to make it multiplayer
and I'm not going to add that.. :P

I tried Sherwood and thought that since you dont signup for an account that it was not persistent. But now I'm hearing that it is persistent. How does this work? Am I remembered by IP or PC name, is a file saved to my PC or what?

Hmm i c u have been doing sum major posting l8tly aniways...Sherwood saves it on ur ip adress so u can oni play it on THAT computer u made the account for, u cant like log in or anything and Sherwood is like a very bad version of Runescape with extremly good graphics

ex:No partys, no smithing, no magic (excpt for ammys), not alot of pplz play it ( ROughly 10k down) and last but not least u have a limited type of clothes u cant choose from so u look pretty ugly and u can even look at urself lol and scroll around like in RUnescape, BUT Thumbs up to Sherwood

PS: Search this on Google: Rasterwerks(3d Firstperson shooting game,it CAN be multiplayer if u get ur frends ip but only and him can play so its not really massive pretty fun map is a lil boring though

I don't think thats correct.

If it's true as you say, that it's IP based, then I could play on any PC that used the same IP as yours, and hack your character. Of course this is a major flaw though, anyone that does not have a static IP cannot retain a copy of their character. ... let's see....

I just logged into Sherwood and I'm currently at Mcdonalds using their wifi, yesterday I tried sherwood from a coffee shop. Connecting from a different source means a different IP and I have a copy of all IP's that I use saved on my wiki site (Any changed I make to my site will include an IP stamp). Even so, the gear I won yesterday is still in my inventory so it must not be based IP. May I ask where you got that information?

So then there are other possibilites I think.

1) A file is saved on the client PC (that would make it easy easier to hack your account (just change the file) ... or share your account (just send the file to a friend).

2. It's based on your PC name which means that you can easily hack someone elses character ... just learn the name of their PC and then rename your own PC.

3. It's based on your windows login ID (I don't think this one would work alone, it would have to be combined with PC name).

4. It could be based on the unique identifyer given to your connection device. I'm not sure how this one works.

So, if anyone knows, then please post and let us know, I'm reviewing Sherwood for my wiki and think that since it's 3D, even though it lacks much content is basically a level-mil, it deserves some special attention because if more content is added, and better protection for accounts implemented, this could rival the top PBBG's available today.

ur words make head hurt...anyways...this is all i know i can only play my lvl 5 sherwood account on my Black Dell computer and i can only play mt lvl 2 sherwood account on my smaller whiute sony computer
i noticed u can change ur name to whatever u woud like to even though its different from the original name u created 0.o...

Yeah I noticed that too, in a typical PBBG that would lead to griefing since players could just change their name to grief then login back in under a different name to avoid the repurcussions.

I'll have to play around with Sherwood to see what information is used to identify player characters.

The only thing that comes to my mind is that the character is affiliated with your mac adress not sure to what extent that is possible though

But the best graphics browser game is Phosphor, you should add it.

Too bad i dont know how to play multiplayer

More browser mmorpgs should be made with shockwave

Supaweak you're wrong. I don't blame you though since the game I'm about to say came out yesterday. Anyway the game is fallen empire legions. It's browser based and 3d. It's WAY better than phosphor. It's also a fps and it has four weapons. Rocket Launcher, Sniper, Gattling gun, and grnade launcher. Everybody should try the game out at instantaction.com. You have to register for the site though. The site has other 3d browser based games too, like think tanks and rokkit ball.
