Well Wasabi isn't meant to give that kind of sensation like chili, its fumes or something will get into your nose, like when you drink a carbonated drink too quickly, except its worse. It can be so bad you get nose bleeds. At least with chili you can put it out with something milk based or bread, unless its super hot.

wasabi was made coz japanese people are too WEAK to eat chilli. i've seen in my country japanese who try to eat laksa and they couldnt take it. weaklings

its not the whole point that you need water idiot, wasabi is a dry kind of heat., and if you snort it through your nose. It goes right to your head, same if you eat it. You dont need water
