I had a similar problem with my keyboard where during battle no matter how much i spam attack (spam till my finger hurts :P) I could only occasionally do a more than 2x normal attack combo.
So i was thinking it mite need some kind of a control system to play so i grabbed a PS3 controller (which is a usb) and plugged it in my com and viola for some weired *** reason it worked i did a test with my flight yoke control column as well no control plugged in problem is there but the minute i plugged in my control column the problem was solved again.
Try grabbing any control hardware ie joystick, analog controller.......See if that works hope it does

Looks like I'll just wait, if the battle is like press X to do Normal Attack and umm Y or whatever for Musou attack, and its not just point and click then I'll be on either Shu or Wu, Because I hated Wei in Orochi Warriors, Personally I'd probably go Wu because Shu is going to be overrated, I mean woooo Zhuge Liang or Liu Bei (If I spelt these right)...

I have a problem. Well I installed Dynasty Warriors and I click the play button. And then it loads gameguard and that, and then it gives me the error

Yes I am ChuSin, and it would be wise to update that guide if not post a link in the first page to a new one lols. I am also Shu and would love to know when other people are gona be on so I'm not to lost lols.

Wow...I'm surprised that this topic is still alive but anyway I plan to play again after I create a new account and download the game...I will update the first post in a few day if I feel the need to do it.

this may have been already asked but i couldnt only be bothered going through 30 pages.

Is there anyway to download a Japanese to english Language pack?

or can you just add a English pack to the Dynasty warriors Folder somewhere?

That way it might translate some of the text making Life easier.

Also i hope you do get the game again cause i will need someone to guide me
