Counter Strike and day of defeat

Well CC:S is a good game, the community is really horrible or at least the servers I have been too but the game is still fun. Day of defeat is also a good game but I would rather play CC:S but that is just me. As for CS 1.6 being better that is all up to opinion, and in fact in my opinion it is worse as the graphics are out dated other then that its pretty much the same game. So for 20 bucks which is what I think its at now CC:S, Day of Defeat, and Half life 2 death match are a great deal for those looking for twitch based games.

I reccomend css over cs1.6, alot of people just say cs1.6 is more pro simply becuase they want to brag they had the game before css players. I went from cs1.6 to css, and after a week or two of getting used to it, it feels quite the same, minus shit graphics and walls that dont block bullets.

Avoid either, the community is atrocious and you will not enjoy your first few... Weeks... of play.

Really, stay clear of these games. There are many other multiplayer games that are better, gameplay wise.

DoD is awesome if you like a game that CANNOT be played without teamwork.

if you never played 1.6 or source you need to stfu

I think you should play DoD it is best game using the hl1 engine.

The orginal DoD is better then DoD:S and CS:S is better then CS 1.6. If its only $20 buy it, takes a few weeks to get decent but its not bad at all.
