I'm thinking of buying Factions and EotN from ebay, cause its like 50 bucks for a copy here. I'm wondering if these ebayed items are the actual game.

Does the pre order edition contain the actual game? Or is it just for the weapons? I wanna be sure I know what I'm getting. Can you play with just the key found in the

the game itself doesn't matter, all you need is the keys. You can download the game, but if the keys are in use already, you just got gimped with your money.

and yes, the pre-order has the game+weapons. =3

It's just the weapons.

Also i still wouldnt trust EBAY with games that require cd-keys....

Hmm, the thing is, I've just downloaded the whole Guild Wars Prophecies from their website with the downloader. I hope I can do the same with Factions and EotN, since even the pre-release for EotN has a access key right?

The GW data file is one huge file, and contains all data for Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, EotN and everything else, even for stuff you don't have yet. So don't worry about Factions and EotN downloads, the game even downloads in the background some more stuff you don't have yet.

It's advisable to use the -image command line to ensure you download everything and not load in between zones, especially during PVP

Ok cool. So from what I gather from scouring other GW forums, people who have bought the pre release edition pack still have to buy the standard edition to play, is that right? Could someone confirm this?

yes Thats why on the pre-release case on the top it says
"GAME NOT INCLUDED"

Which means you have to buy the full game.

Dont trust ebay.... NO WAY IN HELL! CD key rip off just buy it spend 20 extra or whatever and do it right

CD key rip off just buy it spend 20 extra or whatever and do it right __________________ Guildwars: lvl 20 W/Mo lvl 20 R/Mo lvl 20 A/R lvl 20 Mo/W lvl 20 D/Mo lvl 20 E/Mo PvP pure nuke ele or domination mesmer. PvP(N/Mo) MM for alliance battles . I have done closer to the stars with all so i can change their secondary profs. all charectors are rpg and have max heroes and all have max armor.
