I found it great.
Yeah, the ending was rather corny, but it still felt like one of those 80's style plots because of the way it ended.
Trust me, it is very good, I almost smashed my computer in when I found out it got licensed, but luckly another group picked it up.
I suggest you wathc at least 8 eps before making up your mind. The story takes place over 30 years of time span.
