Ok well i have been playing Guild Wars for almost a year now and im getting really pissed off

now because im just getting into pvp but my loading take forever..i got to random battles one and they last 8 minutes...my screen comes up at about 7mins 30 seconds...this hurts my group every time...i dont have the money to but new comp stuff and my graphics setting on the game are all the way down.
What and how can i do anything to decrease loading time!!!

you said new computer, you said lowering specs, hmmm. slight chance it can be a virus, maybe you should scan your computer first. if that doesn't work, try reinstalling it. if that doesn't do anything, try and contact support from ANET.

What's your connection like?

If you're just getting into PvP, chances are you don't have all the textures, models etc. for the maps and items. Running GuildWars once with the "-image" command will download everything (over 3 and a half gigs, so do it when you won't be using your computer for a while), and you won't have such long loading times.

OTOH, if you've already got all the maps, textures, models etc. and it's still taking 8+ minutes, then your computer probably isn't anywhere near the minimum specs....

zenithzero has no idea what's going on here.
