I'm studying in graphic right now and I consider getting an Imac.

I'm not deciding wether I should get a more powerful cpu or more ram.

So which is which?

It's either

2.4ghz Core 2 Duo + 4gb ram

or

2.8ghz Core 2 Extrem + 2gb ram.

As for your problem, I suggest the...

2.8ghz Core 2 Extrem + 2gb ram.

You don't need 4GB of RAM, and the extra processing power will be great for graphic design.

ONE PERSON CAN DESTROY EVERYTHING A GROUP IS WORKING FOR

Anyway. I'd go with the first choice. But, thats just me. (because the only iMac I ever worked with had those specs
