I recently played Guild Wars for the first time, and I must say that I still think WoW is better. If you have played both, which one do you like more? Dont forget to VOTE!

I've played both for a while now. They're both good games but WoW wins hands down.


If you're a more independent gamer but still like MMO's guild wars is a good one.
But WoW just offers so much more.

I played GW, havent had the oportunity to play WoW, but I got way too addicted, played for hours at every oportunity I got, it messed up my life for a while, so I have had to stay off MMOs for some months now, well anyway I really liked GW but hated sometimes having to depend on other players to get through a mission they seemed just too long at times, I had the best fun doing sidequests by myself really, anyway that's just me.

I do agree at least some ppl no if their 2 addicted to these type of games. i havnt played guild wars ive played rs and flyff, flyff is way better
World of Warcraft ruins lives. i nver even touched or have searched up wow ever! wow is dangerous 2 much ppl get addicted 2 it and then their life gets ruined for eg my cousin (he's a guy) came to australia when 12 yrs old plays wow for 6 yrs now he's 18 still plays wow he's not even going to university or school or anything. plays on wow 24/7 sometimes skips dinner for it. doesnt sleep till 12 pm wakes up at 6 am again to start playing wow again. and he has diabetes (not suprised) he doesnt talk to anyone ever (has no social life) has no girlfriend, and his mum cant do anything about it. she cant just chuck his computer out of the window, he'll be doing suicide and killing every 1.

Ha, that's the dumbest stereotype EVER. Sure some people get excessive with it, but theres people like that for EVERY GAME. Just because someone plays WoW doesn't mean its gonna ruin there life...

and just because your cousin, who happens to play WoW, is a loser it doesn't mean everyone else who does is.

I've played both..WoW for 1 year.. and GW for 28 months..
And I think we shouldn't compare WoW and GW at alll.
The gameplay is different, the content is different and even the whole concept is different. Although we can compare them in this way:
What game did you enjoy more? That my son, is a better question.

And I must say.. I got addicted tot GW longer.. cause I had to pay for WoW..
But I enjoyed WoW more..I just love the style of it.. and the rewarding gameplay. And ofcourse WoW has more end-game..mounts.. and a persistent world..with one big update every 2 months (roughly)..
