And how do you know?? A huge lconstant light i like playing games in the dark 'Rivers and fountains never run dry' surly if you are dead you wouldn't need to drink. Solid gold gates, pearls and diamonds walls< there is a thing called inflation where the currency becomes worthless because its common. If the walls were made out of pearls they would be just as interesting as if they were made out stone because after a while it just gets boring same old thing everyday (if time exists there).

For the record there i believe there is no heaven.

If God created us humans in his own image to worship him, then He was very very smart and wise to create us this way. I mean...due to our frailty and weaknesses, we are somewhat "forced" to worship/look to him. Our bodies are so...fragile, prone to diseases, illnesses, injuries, vulnerable to emotional wounds, scarring, depression, despair, sadness, etc. With all of these obstacles in our way, it seems like death is the one companion that sticks with us wherever we are at whatever time. Now God says that if we believe in him and all that then he will make us well, make us healthy, happy, full of love and strength. Considering how easily our physical bodies can break, this sure is a smart way of making some"one" to believe in a powerful Being. I mean...who does NOT want to feel good, full of happiness, full of courage, strength, etc?

I don't see people who survive AIDS and HIV just because they worship God. And we are not somewhat "forced" to worship God. Worshiping God is a choice that we as humans make. And worshiping God because of our physical ailments is not love. And you make it sound like we're at the bottom of the food chain with the "we're so weak" attitude, all of us aren't emos with AIDS, you know.

thanks for the link. the 3 parts where quit funny to read. i think this guy is a hardcore christian. i mean he defends the church over the ages. he also defends the crusades and the inquisition (in my point of view). it is the same thing when we two discuss, none of us got an objectiv point of view.

The original intention of the Crusades was actually a very just one, and one that I support full heartedly. I agree, the Crusades didn't go as planned and a lot of horrible things were committed on BOTH ends. One thing a lot of you people don't understand, is that just because someone stands up and says, "I'm a Christian" doesn't necessarily mean they are one. You can tell by actually looking at their life and what they've done. That being said, do you honestly believe every single man who fought for the Crusades was a full blown, die hard, 100% Christian? I don't. When you stick corrupt men in a situation like that, bad things are bound to happen.

And again, do not dare compare the Catholic Church to that of the Protestant one. It's like comparing Apples and Oranges, and really makes you appear very silly.

Heaven is a place created in the mind of man, there is no such place, but many people consider this imaginary kingdom to be real. Think about it, who was it that actually came up with the idea of "Heaven" and "Hell" The fire and brimstone image of hell that we all know today came from an artists painting (I forget who the artist was so don't bother asking for the image)

And as for "Heaven" It just happens to be the opposite of that horrible place "Hell"

So if you really think about it, this is just another thing thought up by some random person, and spread throughout the world to make somebody act better to try and gain access to this paradise which is Heaven.

So in other words, There is no Heaven besides in your mind.
