Well, if there weren't souls, everyone would pretty much be the same in every single category, thus making creativity obsolete.

But you can believe what you want.

If you could love for 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 years without a single thought of misgivings or evil, then you're obviously perfect. Perfection in love means that we're imperfect in other areas? Spend the rest of your eternal life in Heaven and see what you WON'T become perfect at.

@Lord Mog - Almost everyone says that a person can be changed, right? Whether it be breaking an addiction or whatever. What stops us from changing everybody to be the same? What stops humans from becoming functional as society, as a group instead of individuals? Now, if you were to say that some humans cannot change in some aspects of their character, I could just as easily say that some people absolutely no chance at attaining entry into heaven. Is God not fair? You say that everything about a human is changeable (other than some physical, genetic, etc), so you say that everyone has the potential of living as a 'we' instead of an 'I'. Therefore, you say that there is a soul and yet not a soul at the same time.

Shoutout to MarineKing for getting me hooked on Ayn Rand!

You will not 'see' darkness forever. You will just be dead. You're conscience is no longer there. What was it like before you were born? You don't know because you were not in existence. That is how it will be when you die.

The concept of Hell is eternal seperation from God. That's basically all it is. People who long to go to Heaven and spend eternity praising God don't believe that Heaven will ever get "boring" or what not. Every human being was created with a soul, and that soul will either end up in Heaven or in Hell. There are no other options. I personally believe that there are varying levels of Hell for people who were worst than others, but at the end of the day Hell is Hell, and it is eternal damnation.

I'm not sure what I'm anymore, but you know if Hell really does exist I would believe in god, I mean I don't wanna go there D: It makes me sad that my family members are there and I don't want to keep wondering about it but if their isn't a heaven I hope I can wonder the earth as a spirit. Oh yeah most of my family is Buddhist and I don't think they will convert.

1. You can influence, but not change a person completely.

2. Well, you know, it really depends on what the person can't "change." If he can't change his murderous impulses, then there's a good reason why he/she should be in Hell. However, if the person can't change how he/she reacts to how idiotic some barista's at a Starbucks Drive-Through are, then that's a COMPLETELY different story.

3. When the heck did I say that?

Hell is Hell, and it is NOT eternal damnation. If I refuse to accept God's love and therefore refusing my claim that Jesus is my Saviour and that he died for me, why should I burn in Hell for eternity? The punishment for sin is death, and that's exactly what happens when you are tossed into the lake of fire; death. Unless you mean to say that God is immoral enough to make us suffer for eternity for simply denying salvation. Is eternal suffering a just and moral punishment for denying salvation? What denying salvation means is that we are denying eternal life with God in Heaven, it does not mean that we are accepting an eternity of horrible torture.

@LordMog - Then you say that God made those unchangeable people without their attempt at salvation with his objective being what?

And as I said before, if God created those unchangeable people without their fair shot at eternal life, what is their purpose in life? You say Soul = creativity. Being creative is to change and to stray from the ordinary. If one cannot change his attitude, behavior, etc. then he has no soul?

Look, to put this bluntly: If you spent roughly thirty years of your entire life knowing you were going to be cheated out by one of your own people, arrested, beaten to a bloody pulp, forced to drag your own torture device, being impaled to a gigantic piece of wood all because you loved your creation, and THEN knowing that your own creation spits in your face because they simply don't want to "believe" you did that, wouldn't you be pissed off enough to make someone burn in Hell? Yes, you would.

Now it's getting late and I'm off to go download a God-forsaken (no pun intended) five gigabyte file so I can play Pirates of the Burning Sea. Have a good time flaming.
